Our region has a long and rich history of beer making. This company was once a leader in beer production in our part of the country. They rivaled Anheuser Busch in size and distribution. I found this somewhere. There is a large contingency of collectors who seek their old memorabilia just like folks who collect Coca-Cola stuff. I have seen people stand around all day in sub freezing temps at auctions just to bid on things with their company name on it. They are no longer in business but I think some company makes their beer in very small quantitys for the "nostalga market" kinda like "Lemp" beer. I have never tried it. Anyway here it is...

Man, that's from the pre-pull tab era. Haven't seen a church key like that in a long time. I have a couple can and bottle openers, but not with a brewer's name on it.

I was looking for a little history info on this company and found a very good lesson in this company's story and was struck with how the lessons are very applicable today. Especially seeing how inBev has just bought out AB. And with all the over paid corporate executives ruining companys and all. This story is AWESOME!!
