A guy told me he caught a 65 lber on the River using them. I see Old School has a sign up sayin they got them.

yeah goldfish are good to use as bait when you are fishing for flatheads, we always use bluegills. Go half hour before dark and catch a bunch in the back waters and use them on the rivers good bait and all you can get for the price of a dozen worms. but yes Goldfish are a good bait if you have the cash to buy them sometimes they can get pricey

Lots of good bait fish to be caught at the Coulterville Lake (city lake)...just along the dam and he dock...bazillions of the little fellas....also great fun for a kid! The "sandwich" sized crappie have been hitting hard just about 8 foot out from the dam as well...but they're barely big enough to keep...and probably not for lots of people, but again...great fun for a kid!

i might just hit that place up this weekend im going to the old mans for the week and i plan to do some fishing while he is out working

no one has one that i fish with i could take it home but i throw all my fish back so its now or never if you know what i mean big fish dont taste right and i walk to places thats how i get the big ones catch and release if you dont release any there wont be any for next time

my boys catfish loves goldfish, apparently, I tossed one in there last night and its gone today.

We used to feed them to the Cats we had in the aquariums...there was always a mini documentary going on in those tanks!
