View Full Version : IL Turkey Hunting Survey Joe 02-25-2009, 07:53 A guy here at work that I hunt with got a turkey hunting survey from the IL Natural History Survey. Anybody else get one? Asked his opinion on several things about turkey hunting in IL. Seems there might be some changes in management/hunting in the future. Looking like it might be over-the-counter tags now and one long season like most normal states. The survey was asking his opinions on each topic. Interesting... They are saying in there that a lot hunter want IL turkey season to be like Missouri's. 3 weeks long, 2 bird, over the counter tags, ect... IL, is no Missouri ! :confused::confused::confused: Il has way less turkey habitat & a lot more people. The IDNR is out of there mind if they think they can pattern IL's turkey season after Mo. :rolleyes: |
