The Bowfishing Assoc of Illinois is happy to present the first annual youth bowfishing championship .
We hope to model this event after the highly successful event held in Oklahoma. It will be a true bowfishing tournament set up for 2 age groups, 13-17 yrs and 13 and younger.
Admission is 100% free, and we will have many great prizes for ALL kids taking part.
Rules are simple. Only bows on the boat are the kids and the adult will only act as guide. Big 5 shoot with some big fish prizes.
This years event will take place at the 3 Rivers Marina in Wilmington Illinois.
We plan on moving this shoot all around the state in coming months. We will also have demos and shooting ranges set up for non-participants.
We hope it is a great way to get more kids interested in bowfishing.
