WIFE & I WENT FOR A DEER RUN TONIGHT SAW A LOT OF DEER, BUT ONE IN PARTICULAR STOOD OUT! BIG BUCK WITH A FEW NONTYPICAL POINTS AND STICKERS, PHOTOS AREN'T VERY GOOD BECAUSE IT WAS GETTING DARK AND THE FIRST FEW I HAD CAMERA SETTINGS ALL WRONG, WHEN WE FIRST SAW THIS BUCK HE WAS RUNNING IN A WHEAT FIELD WITH 5 OTHER BUCKS, TWO OF WHICH WEREN'T SO BAD THEMSELVES, LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE ALL PLAYING, KICKIN UP THEIR BACK LEGS.

DON'T EVEN ASK WHERE IT WAS, LOL, THEY WERE IN A FIELD IN SOUTHERN ILLINOIS.

he looks like the one that nearly creamed us on the bike Saturday evening...jeez he looked even larger from a motorcycle..scared me poopless! Had a rack I swear was as big as the bike and he was close enough to hear him snort...way too close for comfort!

Now for the real question... are you allowed on this ground? If so you are a lucky man.

No I'm not allowed to hunt this ground.....yet! but the bucks came out of a small woodlot probably only 4-5 acres which is the only timber within 1/2 mile, I don't think they'll be in the same spot once deer season rolls around.
I will try to get permision to hunt nearby, as close as I can get. we took these photos from our truck so if he keeps coming out during daylight there will be alot of other hunters trying for him. I'm glad to just see deer like this.

that deer is really far along. our buck is just geting his g-2's and he's a 140 to 150 class deer that one must be around 200 inches when he's done growing

Yeah, we were on the poker run....Critter rides that stretch nearly every day to and from work ....he says they have an understanding....HAH!
