sorry about the blown highlights...but I was so excited to find this log full of oysters that I forgot to check my camera settings!

Folks will tell you these are late summer and fall shrooms, but I found these in early April when I was Morel hunting. A good cool rainy night, and warm sunny day will pop them all season.
