I need to go run my boat for a while this weekend before taking it to Branson next weekend. I am thinking of Baldwin because of most everywhere being froze up. I could not find any info on the lake on DNR's website.

What is the horsepower limit on the lake? Are there any areas that I have to watch out for as far as shallow water, stumps, or anything? Where is a good spot to put in?

While we are out there we are prolly gonna throw a line in to see if we can catch more than a buzz. What might be worth fishing for this time of year?

Any advise is appreciated.

50 HP limit. Only the (what you guys) East end is open until the waterfowl refuge is lifted. Good map at the ramp to let you know what's up. Good fishin too> Have fun. (keep beers low. DNR lake.)

Did anybody get out to fish Baldwin this weekend? The wind was down on Sunday...wish I could've been there.

It was too windy on Sat. We ended up going to the river. The boat ran well!

We saw a ton of divers, bunch of those pelicans, and a bald eagle! Good Times
