View Full Version : Bass or Bow Bob 06-07-2007, 13:44 OK, we had a pretty good time at our last SILO outing, so maybe we plan another? Smokey Mc Pot 06-07-2007, 14:27 il make it this time boys and im goign with anytime but the 3rd week in july my dad needs me at his house that week but any other time is good i just need a ride to the place were we fish BOOYAH 06-07-2007, 15:56 I voted for bass since i don't have a bow for fishing.:) maybe next year i'll have to try that also, cuz its always fun shootin the bow. Luc24 06-07-2007, 18:22 I voted bass, but dont think i will beable to make due to work schedule, sucks, just about everytime there is somethin going down i gotta work. Its poooooopp, one day might have a mon-fri, haha Bob 06-09-2007, 18:18 Ok, I'm closing the poll on the 17th. Looks to be bass, but the date is still in contention. Now thinking ahead (that's dangerous.) few questions... WHERE: TIMES: CAMPING AREA: COOKOUT??? I'll post other polls if necessary on Lake choice... Like to get a list 1st... maybe narrow it down to 3... Things to take into consideration are HP limits, Size limits, camping... anything else you all think of. Time to get plannin if we're gonna do this. NON-BOATERS WELCOME. last event we had way more boats than folks. If you need a boat we can coordinate it. (No complainin about what you get.) This is your event, give up the feedback... Smokey Mc Pot 06-10-2007, 01:06 i think maybe crab orchard or kinkaid they have ery nice ccamping spots teh only thing wrong with crab is you have to get a parking permit and thats b.s but thats my thought maybe rend but i dont like that lake but it will do for me gretchensteele 06-11-2007, 09:27 Hey - the 28th of July is my birthday....what a birthday bash it could be! LOL I like kinkaid, and johnson creek has some great "primitive" camp sites...be forwarned I'm a lousy bass fisherperson...now if it was catfish....I might stand a chance LOL but it sounds like really fun thing! lifestudent55 06-11-2007, 09:39 I don't know if our boat will be back from the shop yet by then. We're getting some sheet metal replaced (pontoon boat) from Carlyle's wind and waves knocking it against the pier last week. If it's done by then though, Kinkaid sounds good. The only bass we've done anything on this year have been white and striped bass. Catfish, however, have been a different story. We seem to do all right catching them. howards 06-11-2007, 16:15 Can i come?...not much of a bass fishman, but l KNOW HOW....ALSO HAVE BOAT. Bob 06-11-2007, 16:57 Can i come?...not much of a bass fishman, but l KNOW HOW....ALSO HAVE BOAT. CAN YOU COME??? ANYONE THAT READS THIS CAN COME... (Just follow along and show up if you're a lurker.):D According to the last tourney, none of us are any good. Of course I won't go into details...:p (I'm sure you'll find out.) Looking forward to meeting you. Be wary of the rest of em... Bowfisher 06-12-2007, 11:42 Why not have both? Bowfisher Luc24 06-12-2007, 13:45 Last time.......lol |
