Went out this morning about 10:15 am found one shed as soon as I walked in the woods. This shed came from a wounded buck I had been watching. Sure am glad Silverpal went with me. This is his first time to actually find anything in the woods. He did well.

Pals first find.

We were back home by 11:45 in time to fix lunch.
By the way the two skulls are still in the woods until I can get a hold of our local CPO.

Okay, now I gotta ask. What exactly do you mean "he found them!!!!"?

I should clarify that. I saw him find them from my tree stand.

And he just left them!! That is the kind of hunter that gives the rest of us a bad name! As my dear old Granny would say, "That boy needs a good tannin on his backside!"

He cut off what he wanted and left the rest.

Beautiful Dog you have. I had one looked just like him, was the smartest dog I ever seen. Some one shot him through the chest and dumped his body in a near by creek.

That's an awful thing for someone to do to your dog.
Silver Pal is a great Buddie. He minds very well and learns very fast. He is only right at a year old, so he has lots to learn, I was very proud of him when we went to the woods. That was his first finds in the woods, on his own. I don't usually go this early, but it was so pretty here that day and I knew this crippled buck had lost both sides already. Probably won't go back for a while until I see some of the bigger ones have dropped.

No this is ground that we own.Private ground. The skulls came from private ground right beside ours.
