I'm staying in Effingham tonight and went to check out a local lake, Lake Sara, drove down by the dam grabbed my rod and walked down to lake, on the way I passed a guy who said "there's some fish bustin' on shad just off that point" so
I started casting and did pretty good, caught largemouth and white bass, length limit on bass was 14" and I caught at least three keepers then the white bass started bustin' the surface, I couldn't reach them with my little spinnerbait so I tied on one of my salmon spoons and started catchin' whites, been awhile since I caught any, love the fight! white bass weren't too big but still fought well and kept me busy, here's a few pics from tonight...

Wednesday night I fished a lake of one of my customers, great looking lake, cypress trees all the way around it, I used his canoe to get around, caught some bass, bluegill and one crappie, fishing could have been better but the setting couldn't have been any better. had a beaver slap his tail at me a few times.
