Lol.:) Smokey Mc Pot 05-31-2007, 21:55 i would go to kinkaid to fish its nice i always catch a big fish spinnerbaits and flipping tubes really nice3 view in the summer (jump off the huge rock its really fun you should do it gets the adrinaline pumping) :D HIGHCOUNTRY 05-31-2007, 23:50 YEA KINCAID. I've been down there 3 times this past month already and I've caught over 35 bass. I've caught at least 8 over 4 pounds and to add 2 weeks agao I caught my first double fish on 1 lure. Check out my pics on my previouse post about Kincaid. DetectDave 06-01-2007, 06:58 I would add my 2 cents for Kinkaid as well although after seeing Huntrz reports on whites busting shad at Lake Sara, Rend may have some action going in that respect if temps stay up. Carlyle too. lifestudent55 06-10-2007, 20:27 I've only tried fishing Kincaid once. If you fish there you want to watch for submerged tree trunks in the coves. They were just below the water level, right where they could do some major damage on an outboard. At the same time, if you cast among them you could probably do some good fishing for bass. I've fished Rend several times. We haven't done too much on black bass there but have gotten quite a few crappies, white bass, and cats there. Go to http://www.rendlake.com and click on the fishing report for info that's only a few weeks out of date as to where they've been biting and what they've been biting on. It doesn't hurt to get one of the maps they sell at the resort (or you can pick up the same maps ahead of time at Walmart). gretchensteele 06-11-2007, 10:15 Back on Johnson Creek at Kinkaid last week Critter ended up with a muskie while he was fishing for bluegill with his ultra light, he'd snagged a little bait sized blue gill and before he got it in, a big ol muskie chomped onto the blue gill ...needless to say, the muskie did not make it to shore on that little rig...LOL Smokey Mc Pot 06-11-2007, 11:30 Back on Johnson Creek at Kinkaid last week Critter ended up with a muskie while he was fishing for bluegill with his ultra light, he'd snagged a little bait sized blue gill and before he got it in, a big ol muskie chomped onto the blue gill ...needless to say, the muskie did not make it to shore on that little rig...LOL yeah those things suck if you all want to know how to catch one just put a lure right out of the box on to your line and throw it a few times you'll get one in no time you think you can get them but at the last moment they turn and cut the line like scissors |
