I had to run to the store yesterday in the rain. On my way, there were 2 girls around 12-14ish walking in the pouring rain. I thought to myself, that in todays world I can't, being a 35 year old guy, stop to offer these girls a ride with out the possibility of being called out as a stalker or sex offender. I saw them on the way back, and did offer to take them home, but they said it was only another block by that time. They were completely drenched.
What do you do?
Why has the good samaratin been replaced with the perv predator? Sorry state of things...

i had a guy once that said he was my neighbor before we moved in knock on my door one night asking for money for a tow cuz he was short money and his wife and kids were in the car, being the nice person i am, i gave it to him,then drove him to his "sisters" house which it wasnt. then dropped him off at his "mothers" and never saw him again. pretty much the guy just needed a drug fix and i just helped him and i had no clue. so now i learned my lesson and dont help anyone. dont care if hes wearing a white collar and carries a bible he aint getting any help from me.

Quack, that sounds like a guy we arrested about 5 times for the same thing. Was he a younger (30's) black guy w/ short hair?

no he was a white guy late 20's early 30's with black hair. my brother and i found out where he lived and approched him about it but he just scoffed and said he didnt owe us a dime and we asked the police if there was anything we could do and they said no because we lent him money. so who are a police officer? i really would want to be one. my buddies dad is a k9 unit for shiloh.

They could have arrested him for theft by deception if they could show he ws just scamming you. That's what we did w/ out guy. He hit about 20 houses a day. I inow most of the Shiloh guys from working with them or by having them come through the police academy where I work my second job.
