Just wanted to take a few moments and invite all here to join our 100% free bowfishing club, the Bowfishing Association of Illinois.
Our group is dedicated to the ethical pursuit of the sport of bowfishing. We have several shoots every year, but our main focus remains the promotion of bowfishing and introducing people to the sport. Especially youth.
We are very active at outdoor shows, youth events and are involved with the National Wild Turkey Federations Jakes programs as well as the US Sportsmans Alliance Trailblazer program. We set up informative booths at all these events and on-water bowfishing ranges. For more info on these fine groups please PM. We also have a great relationship with Bass Pro Shops and will be holding first time bowfishing workshops with them thru the summer.
Our organization originated in the northern part of the state, but has members all over the state. And now Red Giles from Marion has offered to help and has taken the position of S. Ill. rep. and chapter president. We will have our monthly on-line newsletter in Reds fine On Line magazine Red Ash Outdoors. We will be holding some shoots and youth events throughout the Southern part of the state very soon, and you will see us at the Southern Illinois National Hunting and Fishing Days Celebration.
We offer a subscription to Midwest Outdoors Magazine for a special club rate of $10 per year. In it we have a full page BAI club column full of club info and members harvest photos.
We have many great sponsors who donate generously to our events. Please check these links for info on their great products.
