Great article and pictures from a foreign land. You barbel looks a lot like a mountain whitefish (aka snout trout) we catch out West.

I just wondered... did you also take any native Koreans out? It just seemed that it was foreign clients in your pics. Just wondered what their take on fly fishing was?

Where did you live in Korea. I was deployed to Yongsan in downtown Seoul and my wife is from Seoul. I didn't do any fishing in Korea, but did get out to the mountains every chance I got. I did fish a lot while stationed in Japan though.
