Out at my deer camp we have been seeing a lot of bob cats. No big deal, we all know they are out there. A guy that comes to our camp came in after the evening hunt and said, "you wont believe what I took a picture of tonight out of my stand." I know where he hunts and its set up between two points of two diffrent lakes. I will try to track him down and get the picture to post, but between the to lakes were 2 river otters jumping from the lakes.

We hunt miles from the river and I had never seen anything like that before. The guys in my camp were talking about how they heard that IDNR has been trading turkeys for otters. They said that if you get too many otters they will trash your lakes and ruin the crappie fishing.

Yes there are River otters in Illinois seen them crappie fishing last spring.

I may have seen one on the Mississippi near the fort. IDK though it popped up in front of us then went under, it could have been a beaver..:confused:
