The Bowfishing Assoc of Illinois will be holding the 3rd annual State Championship on the Illinois river in Henry Illinois July 7th&8th.
The Innerloc Broadhead co. will be a major sponsor of the shoot, and will be giving $500 to the person who harvests the biggest fish with one of their grappler bowfishing points. AND, they will be recording the event to be broadcast on their new national TV show "Innerlocs Out There".
This will be a yearly event sure to become one of largest bowfishing events in the nation.

We also will be giving away 2 Onieda Bows, and thousands of dollars in bowfishing equiptment from AMS bowfishing, Sullys Bowfishing, Innerloc , Rivers Edge Productions, Bass Pro Shops, Brackett Productions and many many more.
Chris Bracket of the Extreme Bowfishing DVD and TV segments will also be recording the event and awarding the Innerloc prizes.

And the bowfishing is great in these water too! Silver carp, bighead carp, grass carp and gar. Boat rental is avail. for those w/o a boat.

A hog roast will also be provided to participants on sunday.

Its going to be a great time for experianced or new bowfishermen!

The state shoot is coming up fast! Again this year the door prizes will be outstanding. 3 man teams-Kids under 15 allowed on boats with 3 man teams
[rented Pontoons may have up to 4 shooters]

No Trailering-All shooters must leave at the Henry Marina

Format- Combo Big 20 & Numbers- Half the entry goes toward 1-3rd place in each catagory. In the big 20, all fish must be seperated before you come to the weigh in. Only 5 fish of the big 20 can be silvers and 5 must be gar. The remaining fish can be Bighead, Grass or Common carp, Buffalo or Bowfin.

Big Fish Format-Big fish catagories for Heaviest Gar, Grass Carp, Silver Carp, Buffalo, and Bighead. Overall largest fish takes 1/2, the remainder split between remaining 5 catagories

$500 prize from Innerloc Given to the biggest Bighead Carp, Grass Carp, Common Carp, Gar Bowfin or Buffalo by weight. The fish MUST be taken with an Innerloc point.

General Rules..
All boats must be 100% up to coast guard standards with all safty equiptment and lighting required by law.
No nets, gigs, fishing rods, pitchforks or any other device that may be used to catch a fish allowed in boats. Gaffs of 3ft or shorter allowed.
A distance of 30 yards must be kept between all boats at all times.
All participants must have a bow in the boat.
Any team violating these rules will be disqualified.
