I had a fever all summer that nothing could cure. It was to hot to fish so I begin reading waterfowl forums. This only made things worse as I realized that duck season was a mere 6 months away. I was going to die. I first took a pill called S.S.2.H. (Squirrel Season 2 hot) This only made things worse. Apparently after the first hunt I suffered a heat stroke and stopped taking the pill. The next pill they gave me was the D.S.O.D.H.S. (Dove season opening day heat stroke) This pill I took several times but had terrible side effects such as (Sweating, Swatting, Looking Hopelessly at the sky) It didn't Work. I then they gave me a pill called ADSIO (Archery deer season in october) At first this cured my fever but my body grew resistant to it. I begin having the same reactions as the DSODHS. They prescribed a short term pill that would cure this fever. It is simply called D.A.RUT. I felt better than ever before. Then I became addicted to this pill for three weeks. It came with serious side effects such as sleeping disorders, day dreaming,and second guessing yourself on where to move your stand. With the shotgunning season over, it has returned, the fever that is. I'm still reading my waterfowl forums and slowly wasting away. As Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching I give thanks that my fever will be gone. At least for a little while.

I think theres an epidemic of that fever going around.

It is probably one of the most contagious fevers there is. I have it and treated it similarly. Nice post.:)

I have been on that same regimen for years!!! I however am still on D.A Rut for now, but already have my prescription filled for W.F.ing.

After that is rough until S.A.H. (Shed antler hunting) followed closely by an unknown ailment only cured by wild morels and crappie fillets. Then a Summer of T & F (Ticks and Fish) until once again the S.S.2.H. rolls around again.

What is sad is that I too have been dealing with these ailments for at least 30 years, 20 years of which I have been married! Yet, my wife STILL gets mad at me when I come down with one of these fevers...

Why can't she be happy when I go out and take some medicine? It usually lasts a good 8 hours aftermy return until I need another dose. :D

I have shot two deer, her comment? "Whew, I am glad that's over."
