was there today.I put a new motor in my truck today so todays mission was to break it in . We went to Cairo. Stopped by Horseshoe lake, it was full ,stopped to pee at spillway seen some fish being taken there.Fort Defiance was KILLER.......................If you live in Southern Illinois I would suggest going and seeing it. LOTS of History there from the first humans all the way through the civil war, to today.

One site said... Lewis & Clark's Corps of Discovery ate over 200 dogs while traveling the Lewis and Clark Trail? However, Lewis' Newfoundland dog - SEAMAN- was spared.
