I've been bugging Kevin to get some more bowfishin gear in, and he did. So if you need anything he either has it or can get it for you. I was in there yesterday to get some slides. He said he set up a few bows for fishing as well.

Whats the recommended DW on a bow for bow fishing ?
I've heard you dont want to high of a weight but what is to high,50 - 60 - 70 ?
I was thinking about using that Hoyt I have for sell for bow fishing.
I wouldn't go above 50#. The recurve I shoot is 50#. Thing is this ain't deer hunting where you rarely draw, you will draw and shoot a lot, maybe over 100 times in an outing. You don't want to be drawing that kind of weight all day.
The old Browning, I'm setting up to be about 40#.
I get full pass throughs w/ my 50# BTW.;)

right I knew that but was just wondering what the recommended weight was.
Guess that Hoyts out lowest it will go is 60lbs.
I wouldn't have the time to get out bow fishing anyway.

I didn't have time to go out today, but went out for 1/2 hour anyway, shot twice hit one.:p
Set it as low as it'll go then...

Turn Right at the Old Shamrock before coming into NA. It's about 2 miles on your left.

Thanks Bob. It's always nice to know where you can go to get extra supplies. Even though we try to take extra everything when we go very far from home, something always breaks or gets misplaced. Why is it always the one thing you didn't have extras of?

What are Kevin's hours. I drove there from FVH yesterday only to see the closed sign.
