The morning bite sucked 2.5 hours, and I managed one fish of ok size, grabbed some lunch and switched lakes. Got about 7 in 1.5 hours. Got outta there just as it was getting hot and the people started showing up. Josh got big fish of the day. Although neither of got any dinks today, all were nice fish.

What lake is that in Sparta? I'm off monday and looking for a new place to fish. I'm thinking of fishing Pyramids Captains unit or Duquion cit lake..

thopse lakes are pretty cool i heard of duquin being a good lake to fish you guys should try pinkneyville it was ranked one of the top state lakes last year or the year before,

I too have seem some mondo cats come out of that old lake by the country club on the s/w edge of town. A buddy of mine's grandparents had a place on the lake there. My pal and his bro would go out and tightline every weekend night and catch some whoopers...all 12# +.

Does the resivor in Pinkneyville have some good shore fishing you can walk?? And what is the hp limit on boats?

i dont think it has very good shore fishing im not sure adnd the size limit i cant remember what it is but its not over 50 i think it is like 10 or 25 i cant remember youl have to google search it or someone else posts about it

10 hp limit and the only place you can bank fish is about 100yds of rip rap right by the public boat ramp. and it was placed 5th in illinois 2 years ago. bass limits are 1 and she has to be 18 inches
