Has anybody had problems with the spoon on the roostertail not wanting to spin right. I checked the swivel to make sure the string or nothing else was fowling it. Sometimes it works perfect and then the next cast the spoon lays against the side of the lure causing the lure to traval through the water improperly. Should the main wire that goes the length of the body of the lure have a slight bend near the eyelet where you tie the string??? Also it seams like I only have this problem with the cheaper lures like the Mepps knock offs you get from Wally World but I have had the Rooster Tail brand do this. I have never had this problem with a Mepps. It seems like when the lure is brand new its not a problem but as the lure gets older it starts to become a problem. Like I said I have checked the swivel for the string fowling and to see if it was bent in some way that would cause this and everything looks normal. I have even checked to make sure the spoon was not flipped the wrong way because I have seen that cause this problem but that was not it. When i got the lure up out of the water it would be dangling freely like it should.
