went to mascutah lake today with luc24 and another buddy from work and got a couple of largemouth. none were really to big. but did catch a 12 lb catfish on a crankbait. pretty sure it was a flathead, sure did put up a good fight. i tried to post pictures but keeps saying that i have over the limit of kb allowed. if anyone knows how to fix this let me know.

Can't wait to see it.
catchin cats on lures is an exciting experiance, we were fishing where the road drives into crab orchard lake (think the road was old 13) and caught a couple channels on crappie jigs. was a heck of a fight on a ultra light rod set up for panfish and crappie
I had a 5lbs channel cat snap my 11ft crappie jigging pole in half on monday while on rend lake jigging for crappie. It was a lot of fun till the sucker made his last big run. Still managed to land him, he will hit the frying pan tonight.
ive caught several cats on crankbaits and rubber worms ands its always exciting to fight them on bass of panfish gear

Getting some pay back for the pole. :D
Hey everyone here are the pictures I promised.
Nice fish. You need a better cam though... LOL

yeah, it was raining and luc24 was taking the picture. a fishing pole in one hand and a camera in the other.

Yeah, that's a nice cat. What kind of crankbait were you using?
