Went out to Peabody today and saw two does. Unfortunately I did not see them until I had already packed up and was driving to the hunter check point. They were nice size and right in the road where I just about hit them. Just my luck.

Hey Jim, You need to swing by the house (when you're out there) or office this week. I've been seeing deer out there every time I go out. I went out in that rain/wind on Fri, and saw quite a few while sneaking around. 2 bucks as well. I may be able to point you into a better spot? Unfortunately, the East sub-unit is about to close (Nov. 1) for a waterfowl refuge. There aren't even really any ducks here yet? It won't be long though I guess.

I bet I could tell you right where those deer crossed... Don't get discouraged yet my man, the good times are yet to come. In 2 weeks they should be runnin wild.
