Shot Sunday at Lake Shelbyville. Tough nite of Bowfishing. Visibilty was poor, maybe 12 inches in most areas. Water level is real low. Lots of sandbars and islands popping up out in the middle of the lake. My shooting partner and I did manage 12 carp and 23 shortnose gar. Did not see any Longnose gar. Hoping to get a 60 incher this year.

I started seeing carp in the creeks and sloughs surface feeding. Time to hit em.

That's what I saw, sucking surface film, but now the waters will go up with the rain and that will make it tough for awhile again.:mad:
