Well this is NOT your usual silly Coen Brothers flick. I am a big fan of the brothers outputs, and this one is good as well. This is just a plain dark movie. No Comedy at all. It starts and ends violently. A classic tale of good -vs- evil, with the fact that good does not always prevail...

Josh Brolin plays his part well to no avail, and the consummate bad guy, is also a chilling portrayal...

I'd give this a 7 out of 10...

If you watch it, think about it. The underlying meanings are many...:cool: and chances are at 1st you won't like the ending, but then it sort of grows on you.

I've got to watch it again. That bad guy is one mean azz. Lots of things I'm sure I didn't catch the 1st time I'm sure. The old cat in the gas staion....one word...LUCKY

Not my kinda show. You certainly could put lots of different meanings in there. But to me, it was just dark for the sake of being dark.

I'd say at best 4 out of 10. Usually I like the brothers Cohen much better.

You're on mark with this one. I rented it a few weeks ago, and I watched it 3 times. I caught someting new from it each time. The antogonist in this one was really good. I also thought Tommy Lee Jones did a great job as well. One thing I could not figure out was his dream at the very end. :confused:

This is one I've been wanting to see now I want to see it even more after watching that clip.
