Is this the area by the Baldwin bridge???

So many of the river areas have numerous names to the local folks... AKA Pit 3/ Peabody River King...

Bob.. I could be way off base here.. but I think it's west of the bridge off of 154... maybe Griggs Road going north? I recall the sign.. but cannot seem to recall the road name for sure..

that is correct on the west side of the river and north of 154. Looking for the dove field back there? Turn north on to Bowlin (sp?) after you cross the river then left at the T dove field is on the right bout 1/2 mile

I thought they had stopped planting sunflowers at day use and drylake a few years back. Last year the old field at day use was just some ratty cornfield. I got some good memories of fireduck ripping some limits out there. and ive heard from some good sources that bigfoot or yeti live in that area. (Joe dont tell em where the pumphouse is!)

I got to smash some of the old club houses in with a end loader there right after the state got it .

state ground migratory bird= steel. Or you could say you where hunting squirrels and use lead.
Fireduk,
That is the sercert oak cutting spot for the blinds. Well I guess its not secret anymore. Next time a go back there I guess I should be packing. I could get the fairy tale grand slam Bigfoot, Big Muddy monster, and IL cougar.
