I got Cooper last May. I've been working with him and took him out last night. 1st hunt(dove). I showed him what I wanted him to do on the first bird. He did it all on the second bird. I don't think he wanted to give his prize back right a way though.

Boy that is a great feeling when a new dog to the field does the retrieve right, almost makes ya wanna cry in tears of joy!

I have seen some dogs that won't retrieve doves, too many little feathers, heat and dryness they just don't wanna do it.

Hard work payin off... good job, both you and the pup
