Went out this morning about 7 to Mascoutah. Got 4 bass. 3 on crankbait and 1 on Terminator Spinnerbait. Lost one really nice bass, wife didnt think it was a fish until i brought it up. Had to be from 3 to 5 pounds. Didnt have it hooked with the crankbait well enough. Seen couple snakes too. Think they are water snakes. Head is little bit more lengthy than venomis snakes. Got a pic.

I don't know, sure looks like a cottonmouth to me. Congrats on the bass by the way.

I think it called a diamond back water snake I dont think we have a lot of cotton mouths in our area.

luc man i think that's the same snake we saw there the other day. also sure would've like to of went with you but both wife and daugther are sick so had to stay home and take care of them. nice pics.
