Just wondering how you and the dog are getting along . I am trying to get my dog to swim . I don't know what kind of water dog I have because she isn't to sure about the water.

mt beagles didnt like water at first so i just put my waders on and tookem in my arms, and just guided them through the water and just let them go when i knew they could hold themselves up

My pup didn't like it too much either until about 9 months, and now I can't hardly keep her out of every puddle she sees. Wallows like a hog. (I'm an idiot for swearing)(I'm an idiot for swearing)(I'm an idiot for swearing)(I'm an idiot for swearing) dog, she's my buddy.:rolleyes:

well got my dogg to get in the water about 3-4 weeks ago and he was weary and had to stay out there for a half an hour before he got in but after he got in he got really hyper and was running everywhere but he was pretty good after he got in he likes the water but he is sorta gun shy and im woried that he is gonna grow up and be gun shy:confused: :(

She just turned 5 months I did go out in my waders had her in a small jon boat and then I sank that baby while she was in it . I am not giveing her any bumpers unless she gets them out of the water she love bumpers even after I made her swim she still will only go where she can touch . Smokey you need another person to stand a bout 75 yards away or so and move in as he gets more confident.

o he loves the water i just have to get him into more water im planning to do it sometime this week im wanting to go to the river and see if he will get into that my mother just gave him a bath and now she dont want him to go but hes mine and she will just nag at me:mad: cant hurt that bad:D

took the dog out swimming yesterday and he does well and likes to swim but when he gets out he goes crazy and runs everywhere im not sure why its not the best place for him to swim but its all i can do for now he retreved some sticks for me and did pretty good id say he scored a c if i was to grade him
