I knew some of my typical late morel spots would still produce, Wife and I went out late yesterday afternoon, we found about 15 small fresh yellows & grays, so if the weather cooperates we may still be in for a good harvest of large yellows.
15 of these little fellas is hardly worth pickin', but we chopped them up and made a morel gravy/sauce and served over medium rare venison backstraps, YUMMY! The one large yellow had some frost damage, so it must have been there for at least a week.
