Went out today walking to see what they were cutting on. Didn't get out there till 11 am or so and I still managed to see 7 of them little critters. Found they had been and were currently on hickory and walnut. Checked my .22 to make sure it was still on, hit a hickory nut at 30 yards resting on the side of a tree.

And the rifle is ready to go on it's maiden voyage, it has yet to put meat on the table but has cut it's teeth on crows, sparrows, starlings and other critters of choice:

Heavy barrel? or just the camera angle?

Camera angle, it is more like a medium weight 22" barrel. Marlin doesn't put a heavy barrel on a .22LR, I wish they did because as good as this thing shoots with a 22" medium barrel I'd love to see what it would do with a heavy barrel.

Garages weren't meant for parking in.... maybe to put the boat in, the rest of the space is to store the toys, tools, and gear....:D

My wife wishes she could park in the garage, but that is a big no no until I have my pole barn, then she can do as she pleases with the garage!

14x16 shed, the carport is big though and we can fit both vehicles in if we nee to. The shed ain't big enough to park a vehicle in and doesn't quite have the height either, but it is perfect for working on smaller items, lawn mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and gun work or reloading. I love the little shop, just wish I had time to insulate it and add a window a/c and little heater.
