I got this bow off eBay for $51 total . Its a Jennings Carbon Extreme. Its set at 80 lbs with a 38 inch draw and 39 5/8" axle2axle. I'll have to readjust the draw and the wt. I will also have to get some sights. The drop away rest looks to be in good working order but I like the biscuit. It was advertised as a left handed bow but the pic they posted was of a right handed bow. This one is right handed. I'm left handed but I have always shot with a right handed bow so I thought even if it was a left handed bow I could learn to shoot it. But it turned out to be a right handed bow. I think I got a deal but I have no knowledge of Jennings bows. What do ya'll think??

38 inch draw??? That must be a one of a kind! ;)
Looks like you got a good solid bow for the money there.
80# is a bunch. How much can it be lowered?

Its says 38" on the tag and my PSE is 30 " and it feels like its a lot longer than the PSE. It feels like I just about can't pull it any farther once its all the way back almost like I'm standing on my tip toes.. I don't know how far down it will go yet. I was looking for a second bow to set up to fish with so I might have to use the PSE for that and make this the deer bow. I fuigered it was cheap enough I could play around with it and learn more about bows in gerneral.

You need to grow some longer arms there Fun! I've never heard of Jennings bows, but for the price you still probably got a good deal.
Is the draw length adjustable too?

It should be, and almost certainly is adjustable. It may require draw length "modules" which may be harder to find, but not impossible.
Maybe back to eBay. :D
Good Luck to ya. And have fun, Fun. :D

yeah thats something I am afraid of, not being able to get what I need to adjust it..:)
If all else fails you could use it as a club to beat something to death:confused::p:D
take that up to Kevin at Old School archery, he may be able to adjust the draw length without new modules. it's hard to see that rest, but the first thing I would do is get rid of the overdraw, (the extended shelf coming back off riser), overdraws were the rage of the 90's, I had one and because they extend behind your wrist, which is the pivot point, they magnify any movements or a bad release. try pulling back an arrow, then carefully watch the tip of the arrow, the slightest movements will move the tip of the arrow way off. The high poundage bows with overdraws shooting light arrows were the "Hot Setup" in the 90's, but were very hard to shoot accurately. The Jennings Carbon Extreme was a good bow and I think with a few adjustments will be a good hunting bow for you.

Yep Fun there are modules you can use to change the draw length but with a 38" draw I have some reservations since most only change the draw a couple of inches not 8" :(
Fun, are you sure it isn't 32" draw length?, 32" is the longest draw I have ever seen on a bow. and I thought when I looked at the ebay ad it said 32" drawlength.

That should be a lot easier to adjust than a 38".
