What is your preferred choice for a set up when it comes to bass fishing?

Most of my rods are BPS rod/reel combos. 6 1/2 to 7 foot medium heavy action.
And cant forget the trusty old abu spinning reel for light line baits.

I have a curado on a b and r outlaw rod heavy action 6 1/2 ft and i have a calcutta on a daiwa rod med action 6 1/2 and a murado evolution on a bps rod med heavy action 6 1/2

9' Pflueger 8 weight Fly rod w/ a Martin multiplier reel, tipped w/ a big ol bass bug, popper, or mouse.

abu bait caster w/ 6.5' quantum rod med action, and mitchell spinning reel on quantum rod

pflueger reels, all star rods 6'6'', abu on an 7' all star, BPS 7.1:1 extreme 6'6''mid

Quantum Pt Energy Baitcast w/ 6'8 Team All-Star Rod and Quantum Cataylst PTi spin with Bass Pro Extreme 6'6, also have Fenwick 6'6 HMG and 7'6 All-Star InShore Series

all abus on some cheap ass rods from wal-mart and some except my flippen stick its on a garcia to and got som spinnig reals and rods from diawa there kool

Bought a Pinnacle Solene from Wally World a couple weeks ago for $50. Seems like a good reel for the price. Put it on a 6 1/2 foot Abu Conolon medium action rod. Seems like a good setup so far but I've only used it 3 times. Other than that, I've got some 10 year old Quantum baitcasters I've kept working like a dream with reel magic. I always keep a light spinning rod rigged for crappie in the boat too. I mainly fish minnow swim baits and flukes for bass so when I catch the occasional crappie I've got my crappie rig ready and waiting because where theres one crappie, there's usually about 50 more.

picked up a abu garcia gold max rod. 5'6 med action. gonna get a longer grip its got a gay ass pistol grip on it right now and i hate that.

hey bam bam got the same tackle box as you. picked it up at wally world for 45 bucks. but it wieghs bout 45 lbs with my gear in it. and its huge

do u like that pinnacle, i was looking at that reel, but don't no anyone that uses it, it u could express you're feeling that wud be cool

Very True Josh, I liked that one because it was thin enough to still fit down into the boat compartment.But big enough to hold all my gear.I didn't want it out in the boat....I couldn't even find one I liked at BPS or anywhere else I looked. It might have been because I need a certain size...
