i was wondering what size generator that is on your boat and if it effects thefish you see and how many light do you run. thanks.

I have (10) 225 lights on my boat. I run a 4250 watt generator. Generator noise doesn't seem to bother the fish. You will shoot more fish at night than day. 80% rule is what you want to use on your lights. Take 80% of your generators output equals the number of watts (lights) that you can safetly run.

80% X 4250 = 3400 watts

3400 watts is what I can run. In my case I am way under the maximum and will cause less strain on my genny.

I bowfish always during the day. Get plenty of shootin... I can't imagine the fun at night. My bro and I did the aerial thing here too. You miss a lot but what a blast.
