B and I found a house "on the water" one time for like 58,000 or something and I couldn't believe it.....when we finally got back in there and seen it I could believe it.....:D :D

Those are great Bam - not picking on your neighborhood.. but holy moly.. you'd think LOE was the Red Sea and Jesus was going to part it any day now the way property values are down there... those folks coming from the city are killin the real SILO people who want to live there driving up the property values.. course in your case it'll be a big assest if you decide to put your house on the market :)

I feel the same way too....eps when my taxes doubled last year....
To all those folkz it's not a big deal cause they are used to those kind of prices but man to us it's crazy.

You can still actually find some nice houses that aren't that bad eps if they are " off water" but most of them under 100,000 needs work....

We were gonna buy 2 lots down here last year and build....they were suppose to be 10 grand for each acre which is still kinda high but we knew we would get our money back in no time cause the location...Things were going pretty smooth and then the neighbor called me and said he wants 18,000 a acre..after that I said keep em.....lol.

Nice! I saw in th epaper there was snafu with the property taxes in your county and now you'll be getting an additional bill.. what a treat.. like you haven't paid them enough..

I know....last year they decided to double ours and the county didn't tell us and the mortgage company didn't tell us either....boy was that a shock! lol...

I already received the other bill yest and it was only 17 bucks....I can handle that but what sucks is since she made the mistake it's costing the county 19,000 to fix it ( remailing the bills and all) .....:rolleyes:
