YES! We have had him 5 years now.....He was really skinny and abused and was in bad shape when we got him.....After moving here we bought a dog from the mall for like $100 and it was the stupidest dog ever. Then the lab came up and we really didn't want another dog but felt so bad for him...He was starving...and was trying to chase squirrels and rabbits and anything he could for a meal so we took him in...That is where he got his name!....He has been the best dog ever! However as you can see he is not skinny anymore! He is getting to be pretty lazy.....Might have to change his name lol( just kidding!) The kids wanted an active dog so we got a chihuahua for $300 and not to long and he ran out in front of a car and got killed....I guess free dogs are the best! lol.....

Yes, I seen the post.. She is cute...So is huntrz dog...Chase still tries to go after things but most the time he is too slow now....What is freecycle????.....He goes with us alot...You could tell he was on his own for a while by the way he acted..He is still really scared of things like the kids baseball bats, sticks, fishing poles, broom and even the water hose. ..I am pretty sure he used to get beat.
He tries to protect the kids and if they go to any neighbors he will sit at their door until the kids come back out. One time we where in the hospital for two days the the neighbors kept the kids and he stayed on the neighbors deck for two days until we came back home and got them. Then he walked back home..... He also barks if anyone turns onto our road...He has been a very good dog for us.:D

I use freecycle lots...better than just tossing stuff, and have gotten some good items too. I have to agree I've always taken the throw away dogs....best ever. Our Rott had papers, but we ended up with him after a litter was salvaged from a meth lab bust. He was probably the best dog I've had...but every stay we've taken in has proven themselves to be the most loyal loveable creatures.
