I'll bet it was around one of those grave yards.

well this is why.. I don't care what Bob thinks cause its the truth and I will keep it real..Bob don't read these fourms anymore anyway. morchella esculenta has a symbiotic relationship with humanbeings. Native Americans had rules when making a camp. These rules dictated that they where to deficate in a designated location. The spores had to pass through the digestive system of a mammal to have the ablity to be viable. Patches of morel mushrooms are a historical marker of where the Indians awnsered the call of nature.

If they were though, I figure you and Fun would've found em and called me on the morel hotline (cell phone).

I was surprised that even Bam replied as tho it was a current post.

Life I promised you and Mrs. Life at the first sign..a call and I will! I can't wait to show Mrs. Life our spring edibles from the woods! I bet she'll teach me a thing or two just like our last foray! I can just see her when she falls into a bundle of morels!

I'm ready for hunting morels too. Mrs Life got her first taste of morels a couple years ago so she also knows how good they are. If the morels had been popping we'd have been hunting them instead of going to MO. On the plus side, I did fill up the truck for just $3.059 instead of the 20-25 cents more they're charging around here.
