We found several mushrooms and fungi just not any morels.....I don't know if you seen my pics or not.....We still had fun......also found some skulls, seen several deer and 2 tom turkeys just before dark.......The first place we went too today was pretty swampy...We could walk through most but it was really wet...They usually don't grow in there do they?

no not if its too wet I really don't know anything about mushrooms other than morels they are the only ones I would try to eat

I am not gonna eat any of those I found........I think you can eat those devils urns but I am not gonna try....I am sure several people go to where you talked about........I guess I could always try my own land! lol.....I used to see little white ones in there all the time but never seen a morel.....well see........

I have found them at Wildcat Bluff its about 2 mile west of Vianna. I live to far away from there to check it every year.

We went again today for a little while but didn't have any luck....Looked like someone had already been in the area to me .....Are the morels still gonna be out even in the cold?

I have been still finding them , not as many thought . But todAY I went for about 45 min. and didn't find any. If it rains and gets warm we could have one more "bloom". The end of April is the latest I have ever found them.

Hopefully this cold don't last too much longer.....But we haven't even seen any ticks even though we been in the woods which is nice! Do you usually find yours in the same terrains or different places?

wel lately I have been finding them in the river bottoms, but I think as it warms up they will be coming up in the upland timber.
