anybody make it there today? We're going to try and get down there tomorrow...
I can never decide which I like better..Springfest or the Vulture fest in the fall..

If you..make sure you visit the maze behind Rainmaker's studio..it's a treat..usually one of the bands is back there...

Heck Rainmaker's studio is a delight as well...

love the phrase "hippie halo" in this article...maybe that's why we like Makanda so much???:p

Init..I think you'd like this place and the festival too!

Sounds like a blast, wish I could go tomorrow, but I leave for Texas First thing in the morning. Wife has a class to go to down there, so the fam is goin with. Poor mama can't go anywhere without her boys... I will deffinately have to check it out next year tho. These little (not really that little ) festivals are such a blast. Even for those who don't ride, or aren't even associated with riding, they are just a good time. Tons of happy people gettin together listening to good music, and having a good time. Some of the best food you only get a few times a year. These kind of events are deffinately worth it!!

G, be sure to take some good pics if you go!

just wantd to post a picture from one the last Festivals I attended, this bike was sweet, it was an 8 cylinder 502ci motor mounted on a bike. The guy who owned it told me he used a tank of gas every 20 miles or so. He rarely went out of 1st gear, and only had 2 gears total!

Went down there. "Hippie Halo" suited it just about right.......LOL
Lots of things to see, my daughter loved the courtyard behind the shop. She really loved it when she got a dinosaur tooth fosil, I coulda spent a mint on mineral specimens.

Am thinking about what the vulture fest would be like? Might have to check that out also.

Yeah, rainmakers was just too much to take in all at once though. It was really neat how they did the whole garden thing in the back! Was dragon bones the store with all the swords, rocks and other stuff? I didnt really get to notice a whole lot of store names other than rainmakers. Wanted to get a pic of the vulture on the hill but someone was sitting up there right next to it the whole time....LOL
