Fishing Report...
For us, Egypt Hasn't Been To Good For Bass Fishing The Last Couple Days With The Cold Weather And The Power Plant Being Shut Off.....

The Power Plant Is Back On Now And It Is Starting To Warm Up Outside So We Are Going Again Today......well See.....

Fishing is good again! I guess it is kinda like the mushrooms! They just aian't gonna come out in the cold! lol.....

Can you rent boats at that lake and do they have some cool campgrounds at all? If so does anyone know the prices?

Egyptianhillsresort.com is on the south east side of the lake........ Pyramid Acres is on the north side. Pryamid has a campground but alot of campers are like built in there now and pay by the year. He does have little store down there and boats can put in for 3 a day but I don't know about rentals. It should be in the phone book under Pryamid Acres but alot of people around here call it Jack's Marina.
Egyptian hills has jon boats for rent and little cabins I heard.
Also we have Lake Tree inn and suites a hotel where the tourney fishermen stay alot. You can pull your boat up and plug it in there as well.
It is right next to Kind Tut gas station, laundry mat, car wash and Ramases Bar. It looks pretty nice and I been in there but never stayed. Prolly around 60 I would think.
We usually camp at Ferne Clyffee they have tent camping which is pretty private and a electric campground up on a hill. they have a pond which also have trout there. And we caught one so we they are in there. Some people like to go there to picnic durning the day but we have camped in the tent and been the only ones down there before. The campground is like 14 a night I think and is pretty nice. They have a clean showerhouse and a playground as well as some trails around the park. Ferne Clyffee is only about 5 miles from Lake of Egypt.
I also just seen the other day that Mack has bought a marnia and are renting boat slips which I been asked about alot. That is kinda up by triple e on the power plant road and market st. Im not sure if they have boats for rent or not yet, but I know they do sell boats.
Check out the egyptianhillsresort.com website is used to be a campground but the new owners came in and are upgrading and remodeling. A couple people told me it is pretty nice down there. I just seen from the lake they are putting in picnic tables and a fireplace as well as a little store now.
