while I was looking for shrooms and waiting to try and roost some birds, I grabbed the disc from one of my cams, got home and look what's on it,
A NICE GOBBLER! looks like he was there this morning and at 3:00 this afternoon, with all the high water I don't have many choices, at least there were some birds close. I did not hear one Gobble on the roost tonight.

Only about 2.5 hours of turkey hunting left for the day, waiting on the after picture. :)

Not today, I had a great hunt with a really close call, actually had a big Gobbler come in, but he stayed to my right and some small trees kept me from getting on him, I had to snake my gun around a few trees while he was within 35-40 yards. I got that done without spooking him, even had the crosshairs right in his head, but just too much brush in the way, he circled around behind me and then walked away. Great Hunt, almost like "Catch & Release" lol
Probably the thickest beard on a bird that I've had within' shooting distance.
