View Full Version : New camera
The girls each received a digital camera from Santa Claus. The novelty hasn't worn off yet. [I'm sure some of you have been there.] As my oldest daughter followed me around Jubilee St Pk today she was taking pictures of everything that caught her eye. I would stop to make some notes, then she'd find something to shoot. When she heard me tromping off, she'd run to catch up.
This flower under a rock caught my eye so I pointed it out. That way I could get a picture of her taking a picture. :p

that is a great photo! are there still TOO many deer in Jubilee Park? I've drovre thru there a few times right at dusk, and the deer are LOUZY! all I ever saw were does. they do allow hunting in there right? seems like I saw some tower stands near the West property edges, so I'm sure the neighbors are cleaning up.
Glad to see Santa got them started in the right direction.
Those dusk drives are almost silly. It's like going to a deer zoo.
Yes Huntrz they do have deer hunts at Jubilee SP. They expanded it last year actually. There's now something like 3000 huntable acres. Used to be just the northern part. Now it's all over. Hunters cleaned up last year. I've got the number checked somewhere. And I have noticed a difference from last spring to this spring. I see fewer but still see plenty, bucks and does, in my park wanderings. But they don't stand and stare at me anymore.
If I could find the time, I would be hunting it myself. I haven't heard of anybody without a shot.
It's also a good spot for handicapped deer hunters.
Northern turkey season goes there also by the way.
