View Full Version : Braggin Rights Tourney Final Thread
OK, after the voting here's what we got.
It will be on the 7th.
We will be drawing partners.
At Peabody FWA
Live well tourney
Now for the unknown details.
What time should we get started/finished? 0630 or 0700/1200 or 1300?
Will we be able to fish anywhere in the park and all meet up for weigh in or everybody into Eagle?

why eagle why not beaver bob that is alot bigger lake more choices on the cover plus eagle everybody will be fishing the same places u know shoved up peoples azzes if u know what i mean i dont like tourneys like that they suck
You're right I meant Beaver, or the whole park. I'll edit.
Condsidering how many people will be fishing, should be by the lake size. One lake may produce larger fish than others and have better surroundings along with cover. 7 O'Clock till 1 or 2 O'Clock would be cool. And depends on how many boaters and non boaters there will be. I know I am a non boater.....
Steven K 03-27-2007, 14:33 wat is 6:30 2 early for u girls?
what if there isnt enough boats. will there be some people bank fishing or will we just have to cram more than two people in the same boat? if someone uses a 18 or 20 footer 3 people could be fished out of it. if i got my boat ready to go by then i can use it. it is a 16 footer. no seats or anything though. just trolling motor and a 15 horse merc.
I plan on bringing my boat, and i have a question about the (whole park) access.
Are all these lakes connected or do you have to launch at diff lakes? I myself know nothing about this place , and i think it would be easier if we stayed in one lake if they are not connected. Just my opinion though.
Again is beaver the lake with the 10 hp rule? or can we idle with bigger motors?
Thanks

The one lake option is pretty big. It is basically the shape of a big X. There is a lot of water there, some that big boats couldn't get into. If someone was gonna show up w/ a canoe, they would be able to fish smaller water if they wished, was just an idea???
I think you may have to run trolling motor, unless you're brave. My big boat has a 40.
I have seen plenty of big boats running idle in there though. Waddaya do?

I agree w/ josh, if there ain't enough boats will people be bank fishing?
Dang Steven, I didn't even think you were fishin it? Are you?
I can bring my canoe if needed as an extra craft.
Steven K 03-28-2007, 10:58 I want to, idk if baseball will get in the way
Think we need a headcount so we know for sure who is all coming?

According to the poll its 6. 3 boaters, and 3 nonboaters.
Vote if you haven't.
Steven K 03-28-2007, 14:34 i just found out, I have a double header @ East St. L so i'm not in and I think Brad probly out 2
its true and its terribble news but i will unfortunatly not be able to make it. who plans a baseball game the day before Easter anyways
not to much longer till the tourney. whats some of the new regulations and what not?
Well i got to pull my name out of the hat, they moved my surgery up to tomorrow. So i doubt I'll be able to make it, sorry all I wanted to go bad.
(I'm an idiot for swearing)(I'm an idiot for swearing)(I'm an idiot for swearing)(I'm an idiot for swearing), is this thing gonna happen now?? seems like its bad timing...... I know I can make it for sure. Got the day off friday so I can make it anytime Sat morning. Count me in
OK here's the deal. I'm goin fishin April 7th at 0700 am. I'll be at Beaver Lake Launch. I'll bet a few $$$ to anybody that comes along; just for fun. Hope to see some of you there. We can plan another one of these after turkey season.
Way too much work, questions, and fretting, for this deal. Set a date show up and fish (or not). You gotta boat take someone who doesn't, not enough boats, fish from the bank.
Ill see you at 7 Sat morning, I will prolly be there around 630ish.
well if we aint drawin partners, i will go with anyone that has boat dont care who with, just didnt want to fish alone but o well. just tell me prior to the tourney. if i cant find partner ill have to go with my 16ft and me.
Josh and me are pards. Because I said so and I don't want him sinkin in his boat.:p
And I can fit 3 if needed, I'm out to have fun.
sounds good to me. the 16ft aint the one that sinks but it has an unlicensed trailer and to big a horsepower motor for the pits. oh and there aint no seats and the trollin motor shaft is bent so its hard to steer. took it out fri night on the river with a couple a buddies, dam motor is too little so we couldnt get on plain. other than that is a nice boat. besides the fact my older bro got runover in it on the river by another boater. hopefully have it ready for the riv tourneys.

THE HOOPTY OF THE RIVER is what I'd name it.;)
