just checked the weather and finally were gonna get a week with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50's. they should be popping like crazy all week in ares that arent under water

Most of my spots are 2 or 3 feet deep...

lukily most of my spots on our private ground are still dry so i'll have to be out checking

Most of my spots are on high ground or hills so the leaves may be washed away thus making the mushroom finding easier.
Jdawg and I went to one pof these spots after a big gully washerand had about 500 mushrooms to clean up that night, could have had more but it was a long hike back to tthe Bronco II and we only had so many bags with us.

that's something I noticed too, the rain and floods have washed away a lot of the built up leaf litter, that stop the new small plants and brush from growing, so this should be the start of a bunch of new growth, underbrush and future thickets.

My spots are mixed..bottoms, hillsides..top ground...so I'm still feeling hopeful....

So much for cooperation on the temps... 34 here this am... we need a week of warm, and NO RAIN!!!
