Why do they all come down here to hunt then? Just kidding!

well, most of the deer are in forest preserves, there are a few lucky people who have private huntable (bow only) ground next to these forest preserves and they're killing some good bucks but keeping a low profile about it. a friend of mine has 40 acres next to a huge forest preserve next to some big highrise buildings and has been hunting a huge buck in there for a few years, the forest preserve police are always harassing him messing up his hunts.

Noticed they where posted!......What kind of camera do you have? I have alot of family that comes down here for hunting........My b-day is Nov 15th and they all use to tell I was here when you where born and don't I always come every year for YOUR birthday.......Now I know it was just cause it was hunting season and they where all here for huntin! lol....Anyway we visited some family and my husband went hunting up there....They have 40 acres and a little cabin...He did get one pheasant but the dog tore it up a little so we just cleaned it and packed it home. We haven't fixed it yet......

I have a Panasonic DMC-TZ1, 10x optical zoom and still fairly compact, which are the two most important feature to me, I need a lens to reach out and if it's too big to carry in the woods with me it's almost useless.
