This is my SWEET 1967 Compact Shasta. It is basically a tent with wheels, but it is better than having to load up a bunch of stuff every time I want to go. Just hitch it up and head out. I personally enjoy Pyramid SP. It is close to home, has no hook ups, which makes it a bit rustic, and a lot of space to hike, fish, canoe, etc. Check it out sometime.

What canoe are you working with ?
I got a 14 foot Rouge River with the cooler seat in the middle.;) It is a molded PVC type. Not too light, but you can beat the crap out of it. I also have a motor mount for it, and run a 35 lb thrust trolling motor on it. I can buzz along pretty good even with 2 guys in it. You got one too?

100lbs.
That picture that has the antlers I found this spring, thats the bottom of it they are sitting on.

What is a 28' camper worth ?
Does it require a 5th wheel ?
Dont know the make of it and I think the year is around 76 and I haven't seen it so cant really say what condition its in.
Not much help. LOL
Dang dude, that's a big RV. It may require a 5th wheel set up, but odds are the same it doesn't. Campers price can vary so much depending on age, features, condidtion, and how bad the guy wants it out of his yard.:D I can tell you a 28 footer from 76 will weigh 3 times as much as a 28 footer from now. I towed an 18 footer that was from that era over to Montauk, and it was about all my Ranger could handle. Probably need sway bars installed on one that big too.
We Used To Have A Shasta 27ft And My Parents Redone The Whole Inside....it Slept 9 And Had A Bathroom, Stove, Fridge, A Very Cold A/c, Full Closets And Even A Bunk Beds In The Back Which Was Neat. We Camped All Over In That Thing. It Was White With Orange Stripes Going Down The Side.......

I had a 76 26' Kit Roadranger Bunkhouse and sold it for $1800. It was super heavy and my 1/2 ton w/ posi hada tough time w/ it. That started my 1 ton dually days and I'm still on them. I think I probably could have got $2000 or so but that has been a number of years ago, perhaps in 87 or so. It had a new frige, etc which is where a lot of your $$ go in a trailer of that sort.
