If you use one, whatever you do DO NOT PUT A PATCH IN THE LOOP AT THE END TO PULL THROUGH THE BARREL!
Bad things happen and it is a B**** to get it out, especially when it the rope breaks and it is all inside the barrel. I'll tell yall how it turns out later.
What cha talking about willis????

Thats why I refuse to use one or buy one. heard to many horror stories about them breaking off and being a major pain to get out.

I know, if it gets to a bad enough point how about a wire hanger? The only issue is possibly scratching your rifling, or use a real cleaning kit to get it out with the cleaning rod. If we would get one it would be for a handgun where you could use a pencil to get it out (even then wouldn't like to have one).

I was able to get it out, it weren't a purty site, I do not recommend using a boresnake as they are a real PITA to get out if they break or otherwise get stuck.
A friend of mine called me earlier tonight and said "boresnake," it is now the new word to set me off!
