what time would this be held if it is on april 7th? and what will we do about non boaters?

im pretty sure that there is only a 10 horse motor limit it sucks but thats the rules

What do you guys think for time? 7-12 or 1? I don't think this qualifies for an 8 hour fish. Then we can hit the pub for lunch.

Luc Non boaters will be matched up with a boater.

You can put any boat in out there and use your troller, and I know some guys go by the "No Wake" rule with the bigger boats.

What about a friendly wager? $10-15 bucks a guy, with $5 big bass?

And since we are doing teams are the limits going to be 5 per team or 5 per person? I'm guessing 5 per team ....correct???

10 bucks is fine wit me and 5 for big bass too...or you could make the big bass optional too, just an idea. Is there a length limit on this lake?

tell u the truth we dont know where we are fishing yet but did u take the poll on the home page and the limit will be 2 people per boat and i think unless the poll changed we will be pullin names from the hat for teams

I am all for April 7th. I will have to be a tentative entry due to a knee surgery I have scheduled for April 3rd. If all goes well I will be there but you never know. I will go for a small wager on the winning team. I do not have a boat so will need to be paired up with a boat owner.

turk season dont start till the 9th of april so u can be there and hopefully you will be there

if turk season starts the 9th then why cant you be here to fish if the tourney is the 7th explain that lol

OK, for those that are numerically challenged:p, the tourney is the 7th, a Saturday
and turkey season starts the 9th a Monday.

7 comes before 9, and therefore you all can fish.

alright just to be sure people who has a boat and who doesnt reply to both if you do have one and are going to use it reeply if you dont have a boat reply just want to see what kind of situation we have with the boats trying to get this straight

I can play on the 7th . All I have for bass fishn are buzz baits . Ya think they'll be hitn those by the 7th. I will have a boat .

yeah but with this weather change its gonna be hard to do that now

if it keeps warming up then the topwater action should be awesome by april. Im starting to catch most of my fish in the 0 to 5 foot depth range. I think the hogs will be a little deeper than that though

well i now have a boat.but it will sink in about 1 hour from the leaks and its only 10 ft. found that out yesterday at a city lake. (that it leaks)

the length limit for bass in pit 3 is something like 15 or 16 inches not exactly sure on daily creel limit but i think it might be 4 per person

I got up froze my ass off, got the boat ready, sat at the lake for 1/2 hour, and since I was the only one there I WIN by default. :p

I didn't go out 28 degrees and windy. It'll warm back up in 2 days.

There is a tourney at Lake of Egypt today.....There was at least 15 fishermen staying at the hotel down here last night so I know when the hotel is full with trucks and boats it is for the tourneys on the weekend. I bet they are freezing right now........Plus the bite really slowed down with the cold weather.....I bet it will be a long day for them.........Congrats BOB on the win! lol

i would have been there but i had to go to east St. Louis and when we got there THEY CANCELLED. i would much rather have been fishing no matter how cold it was

I was up at 4 AM and thinkin bout you all freezin your a$$e$ off. But if i woulda been able I'd gladly freeze a lil for sum fishin, its in my blood, cold,rain,snow, its FISHING!!!!!

Congrats bob. I really appreciate all your efforts. Hopefully next time the weather will be better and we all show up..The weather is not too bad. I fish our Anglers Choice Tournament last Sunday on Lake Egypt and it was great. Out of 43 boats we came in 7th place and won a little money. We had 17lbss of bass and big fish of 5371lbs. We have another tournament up there on the 22nd of Apr and I can't wait. I am off Monday and I think I may go up to Kincaid to crappie fish.

Hey Bob ever heard of better late than never ? Anyone see a red chevy truck with a rough lookn boat trailer there on Saterday . I didn't get there till after 8 :00 but I did fish for crappie . Got skunked did find 4 morels. There was a white chevy parked in the lot when I left around noon .
