5:03 AM http://www.siloutdoors.com/s.gif I planted a bag of throw n gro I got at the WM. We raked out about 600 sq feet of old road bed in the woods. It doesn't get much direct sun, so we'll see how it goes. It is mostly rye, and I know that can do ok in part shade. I just wondered if any body esle has any food plot stories, or dos and don'ts. 9:09 PM http://www.siloutdoors.com/s.gif Hey my buddies and I have planted several food plots and it seems that the brasicas grow really well compared to everything else. I planted some Whitetail institute clover last year and this year it looked really good. I think standing corn is the ticket though that’s my plan for next year at least. bob--o (http://www.siloutdoors.com/members/profile/584206/bob--o.htm)

7:29 AM http://www.siloutdoors.com/s.gif Those brassicas need more sun though I believe don't they BTM? My spot is in a small strip of woods, and I knew would be partly shaded until leaf fall. Heck I may need to rake the leaves off it in a few weeks??? Where are you hunting BTM? Where I'm at there isn't much of a shortage of corn. Of course the standing stuff is coming down at a quick rate where I'm at right now, and it won't be long for the beans to be done either.
