:eek: THIS IS KIND OF A FUNNY SHOT....MY DAUGTHER IS BENDING DOWN PETTING THE DEER RIGHT? WELL ACTUALLY I TOOK THIS SHOT INSIDE OF THE REND LAKE VISITORS CENTER AND CROPPED OUT THE BACKGROUND AS MUCH AS I COULD....BUT THE LIGHT WASN'T VERY GOOD IN THERE.....THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE.......THANKS LI

Did know Rend Lake had live animals in the visitor center.

anyone been out to that nature reserve called loan elk park in missouri? its off of 44 before eureka. its pretty cool place. they have some good size bull elk there. also have a bird sanctuary and whole bunch of other stuff, u can even rent boats and fish it. no gas motors. should check it out. http://www.co.st-louis.mo.us/parks/LoneElk.html

Great picture to start off. I know my kids would LOVE that. For the contest though, the pics must be from the season in 2007.

You can submit as many photos as you like as long as they fit in one of the 3 categories. The photos must be taken in our wonderful home state of Illinois in the year 2007. A panel of judges (chosen by Bob) will pick 3-5 finalists of each category. (depending on the number of entries) Then those 3-5 will be judged on a web poll by YOU, and your fellow members of SILO. The winners of each Season will be named as per the voting at the end of the month following the close of said season. (EX: Jan-Mar winner will be named May 1 and so on.)

That's fine....the deer wasn't alive anyway....It was just a neat pic I thought I would share sorry..the visitors center remodeled up there not to long ago....it looks different in there....:p
